This presentation addresses a pivotal issue within the current landscape of communication and cultural transformations: the migration of cultural symbols targeted at children from traditional cinematic media to interactive digital spaces—particularly new media platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, and mobile applications. The significance of this study lies in examining how symbolic messages with cultural dimensions are being reformulated and directed at child audiences within digital frameworks that move beyond linear reception toward interactivity and participation. The analysis unfolds along two complementary axes. The first explores the shift in the modes of cultural symbol transmission, transitioning from traditional cinematic mediums—characterized by narrative dominance and professional production—to digital media, which allow for semi-independent content creation and are driven by algorithms of recommendation and personalization. The second axis considers childhood as a culturally targeted social category, wherein children's awareness, values, and symbolic imaginations are being reshaped through these evolving platforms.
