Abstract

This research deals with the image of the intellectual in the novel as having a specialability to monitor the economic , social and political changes thataccur in the life of the person and society . The novelreflectssomething of the real reality of the intellectual ,thathe has a unique awareness of the kind stems fromhisdeepsense on major issues such as political injustice imposed on humanbeings, social oppression and disruption of economicsystemsthatordinaryhumanbeingscan not express. This studyprefers to explain the divergent positions of the intellectual in the novel as the language of the nation and the representative of the people and the personwhois capable of readinghistory and analyzingitcorrectly.
