Abstract

يعالج المقال موضوع التحليل المقارن للظاهرة السياسية الذي شكل محور إهتمام العديد من الدارسين منذ أرسطو (تصنيف النظم السياسية) وصولاً عند الدراسات المقارنة الحديثة، كما يحأول مناقشة حدود المقارنة في العلوم السياسية التي طرحت بمناسبة التحولات العميقة لهذا الحقل المعرفي نتيجة تزايد الطلب على الأبحاث والدراسات المقارنة الناتج عن تبلور تخصص قائم بذاته (السياسة المقارنة)، تغيرت معه مواضيع المقارنة، ويعالج أيضا كيف يطرح ذلك صعوبات تحليلية واضحة على التحليل المقارن ومقارباته النظرية نتيجة النزعة الغربية الممركزة، مما أدى إلى إعادة النظر بصورة أساسية في فئات التحليل الأساسية للمقارنة لاسيما مع ظهور حالات وطنية جديدة على المسرح الدولي . يعرض المقال إستراتيجيات التحليل المقارن الاكثر تدأولاً ويناقش إشكاليات القابلية للمقارنة . In this article, the author first of all looks at epistemological and methodological issues, related to comparative studies in the social sciences are addressed. The starting point is a discussion of the meaning of comparison, its rules and its presence in science, and in everyday life. It follows the presentation and critical appraisal of the perspectives, regarding comparison as a scientific method. There are numerous reasons that comparative research has come to take a place of honour in the social science. Globalization has been a major factor, increasing the desire and possibility for exchanges, and intellectual curiosity about other cultures. The article address in more detail those studies that can be defined as trans-contextual (cross-national and cross-cultural), with emphasis on the main methodological and technical challenges they face. This study goes on then to emphasis major problem in comparative research, is that the data sets in different countries may define categories differently, (for example by using different definitions of concept) or may not use the same categories
