    هدفت الدراسة إلى معالجة موضوع الإجراءات الدولية لمواجهة ظاهرة التغير المناخية، باستعراض ظاهرة التغير المناخي وكذا قسم الأرض لهنية الأمم المتحدة لحماية البيئة، وكذا المؤتمرات الدولية حول تغير المناخ، حيث توصلت الدراسة إلى أن تغير المناخ يعتبر تحديا عالميا. ويعتبر بروتوكول كيوتو الأكثر إلزاما وأهمية مقارنة بالإجراءات الأخرى التي تم القيام بها لمواجهة ظاهرة التغير المناخي، ومع ذلك لم يفرض بروتوكول كيوتو الية ملزمة على الدول المتقدمة خفض انبعاثات تغير المناخ، مما جعل تلك الدول تطلق مسمى الالتزامات الطوعية على الالتزامات التي أقرها البروتكول عليها أنها لا تلزم نفسها بأداء تلك الالتزامات كما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن الاقتصاد الأخضر والتحول نحو استهلاك الطاقات المتجددة يعتبر كخيار استراتيجي لمواجهة التغيرات المناخية الكلمات المفتاحية: التغير المناخي حماية البيئة قمم الأرض: بروتكول كيوتو. Abstract: The study aimed at addressing climate change, reviewing climate change, the UN summits and international conferences on climate change. The study found that climate change. The Kyoto Protocol is the most binding and important in comparison to other measures taken to address climate change. However, the Kyoto Protocol did not impose a binding mechanism on developed countries to reduce emissions of climate change, making these countries call voluntary commitments to commitments that the Protocol does not recognize. Commits itself to fulfill those obligations.
