    La scolarisation des enfants avec handicap mental et sa représentation sociale

    L’intégration des enfants avec handicap en milieu scolaire ordinaire est un défi de société. Depuis 1975, les textes législatifs et réglementaires Algériens engagent de plus en plus l’éducation nationale à l’accueil de tous les enfants, quelles que soient leurs difficultés. Cependant, la scolarisation des handicapés mentaux avec cette loi rencontre des difficultés à se réaliser hors d’institutions spécialisées. Le présent article décrit quelques résultats préliminaires récoltés d’une enquête réalisée aux prés des parents d’enfants handicapés et d’enfants normaux ainsi que des enseignants d’écoles du stade primaires au niveau de deux établissement scolaires dans la ville de Tlemcen, sur la représentation sociale de l’intégration d’enfants handicapés en milieu ordinaire. Cette enquête montre des disparités d’opinions entre les trois groupes envers le processus d’intégration. The integration of children with disabilities into ordinary schools is a challenge for society. Since 1975, Algerian legislative and regulatory texts increasingly commit national education to welcoming all children, regardless of their difficulties. However, the schooling of the mentally handicapped with this law encounters difficulties in being carried out outside specialized institutions. This article describes some preliminary results collected from a survey carried out with parents of disabled children and normal children as well as primary school teachers at two schools in the city of Tlemcen, on the social representation of the integration of handicapped children in an ordinary environment. This survey shows disparities of opinion between the three groups towards the integration process
