Participants in most forums related to the theme "Children and the Challenges of the Modern Age" consistently emphasize the vital role of various institutions and civil society actors in addressing the challenges facing Arab societies, particularly Algerian society. They also highlight the contribution of associations in reinforcing values and principles that safeguard children and protect them from the negative effects of harmful phenomena spread by various media outlets, which threaten social stability and equilibrium by adversely influencing children's development.
This aligns with the mission of the Wilaya El-Wefaq Association of Batna, which seeks to provide positive alternatives by optimally investing in the constructive aspects of media to help build a leadership-oriented personality in children, within the framework of Algerian Muslim family values.
In this research paper, the Association shares its vision and field experiences by presenting activities and initiatives targeting children. These efforts aim to complement the role of families in raising their children and include extracurricular programs within educational and training institutions, as well as support programs for families to engage in solidarity-based entrepreneurship in order to achieve financial self-sufficiency. Furthermore, the Association places strong emphasis on the care, upbringing, and ongoing field support of boys and girls alike through a variety of dynamic programs—striving to move from the theory of righteousness to the practice of reform.

على التعامل الواعي والمسؤول مع تحديات العصر الرقمي. إن تفعيل هذه القيم في الواقع التربوي المعاصر ليس مجرد خيار،
بل ضرورة حتمية لحماية ه وية أبنائنا وتحصينهم ضد المؤثرات السلبية، وتمكينهم من الإسهام الإيجابي في بناء مجتمعهم
وأمتهم، محافظين على دينهم وقيمهم الوطنية.

The digital divide refers to the generational gap in technological usage and understanding, particularly between parents and their children. As information technology progresses rapidly and children become increasingly dependent on smart devices and the internet in their daily lives, this divide is becoming more pronounced. While children often have advanced technological skills, many parents struggle to keep pace with these developments. This limits their ability to guide and protect their children from the risks of the digital environment.
This issue is critical due to the challenges that the digital divide poses within families. It affects parents’ capacity to oversee their children's online activities, thereby exposing children to risks such as cyberbullying, harmful content and internet addiction. Furthermore, the digital divide affects intergenerational relationships: children may feel misunderstood regarding their digital challenges, while parents may struggle to set rules or provide effective guidance. These dynamics can lead to undesirable behaviors in children, increased digital isolation, and weakened family communication.

Over the past decade, the Arab educational system has undergone significant transformations driven by the rapid pace of digitalization, which has impacted all aspects of the educational process from instructional media and teaching methods to educational communication. While these transformations were expected to enhance the quality of education and modernize the
learning environment, they have also given rise to complex behavioral and pedagogical challenges, most notably the escalation of school violence in its various forms, both within and beyond school settings particularly in digital spaces that have become extensions of students' academic and social lives.
