This paper explores the key elements of governance in urban transportation, including transparency, accountability, stakeholder participation, and regulatory frameworks. It examines the role of governance in both the planning and implementation stages, emphasizing how well-designed strategies and inclusive policymaking contribute to the long-term sustainability of urban transportation systems. The study draws on case studies from cities such as Singapore, Copenhagen, and Medellín, highlighting successful governance mechanisms, such as public-private partnerships (PPPs) and technology integration, that have enhanced service delivery and sustainability.
