Due to the gravity of cybercrimes and their direct link to technological progress, the global community has recognized the need to act decisively by enacting comprehensive legislation to address these threats. In an effort to harmonize cybersecurity-related laws, several international agreements and conventions have been established to combat cybercrimes.
