It relied on the descriptive and statistical curriculum, the most important of which was that agricultural policy aimed at achieving sustainable food security and food sovereignty is obliged to ensure stricter protection of natural resources and encourage their proliferation by including measurable ecological requirements in their pattern of exploitation. Agricultural guidance plans based on the natural qualifications of regions and states must identify measures to adapt agriculture and encourage agricultural practices capable of stimulating the resilience of agro-ecosystems. Diversification of activities, selection of adapted farming systems and selection of seed types most resistant to water stress can reduce the risks associated with climate change.
