The issue of judicial supervision concerning the implementation of the penalty of community service is a significant matter directly addressed by Algerian legislation via the Public Prosecution, under the auspices of the Assistant Attorney general at the Judicial Council level. Furthermore, the responsibility for enforcing these penalties is delegated to the Sentence enforcement Judge, who assumes an essential role following the issuance of the final verdict that dictates the penalty. This discussion explores the duties of the Sentence enforcement Judge in executing the community service penalty. His role is manifested through the procedures he implements, which include summoning the sentenced individual and informing them of the penalty. The sentenced individual possesses the right to either accept or reject this penalty.
