Abstract
This intervention provides a description of the role of agricultural media in achieving self-sufficiency, focusing on the methods and tools used in this context. Self-sufficiency is one of the major challenges faced by most countries worldwide, as everyone seeks to achieve it to ensure regional and global strength and existence while overcoming the dependency created by its absence. Agricultural media is one of the most significant means available to influence and educate the public, contributing to the development of a culture oriented towards
agricultural development and the pursuit of self-sufficiency. Through our study of this topic using a descriptive approach and observational tools, we found that agricultural media relies on a variety of guidance and advisory methods aimed at achieving self-sufficiency. This includes print agricultural journalism in the form of newspapers and magazines, as well as radio and television, which have a substantial impact on rural communities. The agricultural audience is primarily located in rural areas where these media are still popular, helping to shift their attitudes, increase their ambitions, and encourage them to acquire new skills, preparing them for change and development.
