Abstract
This academic article aims to analyze the transformations in Arab children's cinema within the evolving digital landscape. The research reviews the challenges and opportunities arising from this shift, focusing on the impact of digital platforms and social media on Arab children's cinematic consumption patterns and their cultural identity formation. The article adopts a multi-dimensional theoretical framework, including New Media Theory, Uses and Gratifications Theory, Cultivation Theory, Social Learning Theory, and concepts of Cultural Imperialism and Glocalization. A descriptive-analytical research methodology is employed, based on a comprehensive review of existing scholarly studies and research materials. Findings reveal a significant increase in Arab children's consumption of digital content, impacting their consumer behavior, mental, and physical health. The results also highlight challenges in producing authentic Arab content, including funding limitations and a shortage of qualified professionals, contrasted with opportunities for wide distribution and cultural adaptation (glocalization). The article recommends increased investment in local production, enhanced media literacy, and the development of supportive policies to ensure safe and culturally enriching digital content for Arab children.
