Abstract

Arab journalism is witnessing a qualitative shift from traditional methods to methodologies that rely heavily on analyzing and presenting data as part of journalistic content. This new trend reflects the growing interest in data journalism in the Arab media, as media organizations adopt the latest tools and techniques to analyze and visualize data in order to provide more accurate, transparent and objective reporting. The study focuses on a number of factors that have contributed to this shift, including technological development, increased public awareness of the importance of data in understanding various issues, and the growing role of open data provided by some government and private organizations. The study also explores how journalists can benefit from specialized workshops and training courses in data journalism, which enhances their abilities to analyze data and employ it to produce informative content.
