Abstract
The Algerian state has shown great interest in protecting citizens and the national market from practices that undermine the integrity of trade, transparency and freedom of competition, which are considered basic pillars of the national economy. Perhaps the most important of these is what Algeria, like the world, has witnessed from the effects of the Corona pandemic and its repercussions in various fields, one of which was illegal speculation that eliminates competition and undermines the national economy, which forced the legislator to impose severe penalties and grant broader powers to the ordinary judge and the Competition Council to protect the economy and the country, which is what we study in this research paper.
