Abstract
The legal frameworks for cinema encompass a set of laws that regulate film production and protect the rights of creators and producers alike. These frameworks include intellectual property rights to safeguard works from unauthorized reproduction, censorship laws that regulate content according to the social values of each country, as well as financing laws that support production through government or private partnerships. They also encompass laws regarding distribution and exhibition in various markets. However, a major issue arises regarding the ability of these frameworks to keep pace with the rapid technological changes in the film industry, especially with the rise of digital streaming platforms, which raises questions about how to achieve a balance between creative freedom and social censorship without infringing on the rights of artists and the public.
