From this analysis, we generally define the figurative senses in the Qur'anic context as a change of meaning that diverts a word its own meaning. we distinguish different species of tropes, on the basis of the nature of the semantic relation which unites the proper meaning of the word with its figurative signification of borrowing, we have retained the great categories which the rhetoricians have freed from the study of topological figures; (the metaphor, metonymy,).
