FIFTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CITY & HOUSING:
PROBLEM OF URBAN EXPANSIONS & INFORMAL HOUSING |
fr_FR |
dc.description.abstract |
One-third of the urban form, including children, live in informal settlements (IS). The young population often experiences low urban liveability and faces high environmental risks such as climate change, heat or cold stress, and air pollution. This has a direct impact on their overall health. Despite extensive research on how green urbanism participates in reducing the effects of environmental risks, there remains a lack of addressing its efficacy in examining the concerns related to IS. |
