بجرّة قلم أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، اعتراف بلاده بمدينة القدس المحتلة عاصمة لسلطة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي رغم خطورة هذه الخطوة المخالفة للقوانين الدولية وعلى فرص السلام في الشرق الأوسط. إن مثل هذا الاعتراف يفرض علينا البحث في المركز القانوني للقدس في قرارات الأمم المتحدة الصادرة عن مجلس الأمن على الخصوصالذي يحتاج إلى تفسير لأنه غامض ومتغير خاصة، وأن الحديث عن القدس كان يأتي بين ثنايا القرارات ويستثنى من ذلك فقط بعض القرارات التي خصت الأعمال التي تقوم بها إسرائيل في القدس لتغيير بنيتها الديموغرافية والجغرافية، ولهذا تكمن مشكلة البحث في معرفة المركز القانوني لمدينة القدس في القرارات الصادرة عن مجلس الأمن.With the stroke of a pen, US President Donald Trump announced his country's recognition of the occupied city of Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation state despite the seriousness of this Step, which contravenes international laws and the chances of peace in the Middle East.
