Résumé: This study attempts to reveal a possible doctrinal unity between the Ash'ari school, the Ibadi school, and the Salafi school, for its effective role in achieving cohesion in Algerian society. It included an introductory study concerned with clarifying the search terms, single and compound, and five chapters. The first of them is the position of the Qur’anic text and the Prophet’s text on the doctrinal difference and their vision of making unity in it. While; the second is about the doctrinal methodology in dealing with the sources of Islamic doctrine "the Qur’an, the Sunnah, the consensus". The third chapter came to make comparisons between the doctrinal schools investigated on applied doctrinal issues to the advanced curricula. As for the fourth chapter, it was to present the approach of the doctrinal schools investigated to the doctrinal unity in addition to contemporary approaches and its evaluation according to certain criterias for the purpose of nominating the most appropriate and the best with its discussion and criticism. In the last chapter, the researcher demonstrated the impact of the selected doctrinal unity on the cohesion of Algerian society by tracing it historically from the Rustumiya state to the early days after independence in 1962 AD.In this study; the researcher used the analytical, documentary, and the comparative method, and tried to employ each of them in their respective places. The study reached several results. Primarly and most importantly; The doctrinal unity that has an impact on the cohesion of Algerian society ,through historical extrapolation, is what both the Ash’ari school and the Ibadi school approached with the following understanding “the agreed-upon amount of religious beliefs, by which membership must be preserved in the religion of Islam, and faith ties must be connected,” The Salafi school approached this understanding only before establishing the argument against those who oppose them. If the argument is established against them and they deny; their membership in Islam will be annulled and the faith ties are severed with the.
